Whether you're a beginner or an advanced dancer, solo or with a partner, our lessons are the perfect way to have fun, build community, and enjoy a relaxed, positive atmosphere.
Community Service
Ballroom in Motion is a faith-based organization deeply committed to serving our community. As a business, we understand the importance of giving back and aim to set a positive example for other local businesses by promoting a mission of service. We have a clear, organized approach to our community efforts, which includes staff volunteering, hosting dance event fundraisers for causes like Wounded Warriors, The Alzheimer's Association, and the University Hospital Breast Health Center through our annual Pink Party. We also contribute to local assisted living communities and support veterans. Additionally, we partner with the Augusta Elks Lodge 205 and Safehomes of Augusta in their "Fake It To Make It" event, which raises funds to assist victims of domestic violence in our surrounding counties. This mission is at the heart of our company, and we invite you to join our dance family and participate in these meaningful efforts!
Competitive Dancing
Have you ever dreamed of dancing like a star in those thrilling competitions you see on TV? Is it finally your time to shine? Ballroom In Motion can help make that dream a reality. Join our adult or teen competition teams and learn the tips and techniques that make our professionals dazzle on the dance floor! You'll receive expert training from top Ballroom and Latin dancers while becoming part of a vibrant dance community of students and teachers from across the country. We host our own annual competition, the Garden City Dance Challenge, and regularly compete nationwide. At Ballroom In Motion, we do competition dancing the way it should be: glamorous, sophisticated, and above all, fun!
